This is my first time drawing the Dark Knight Returns Batman after many years of reading the comic over and over. It really is one of my top favorite comics that I just don't get tired of reading. I'm so glad that Warner Bros. made it into an animated feature. As a fan, I of course have little nitpicking details about it, but I still very much enjoy seeing the old man in action. Just the idea of an old man showing the young punks (good or bad) that he is still the best at what he does was always something that I thought was so cool. Much like when Playing Metal Gear Solid 4 and the movie Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood.

Oh yes indeedy! It only took years for them to make it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would have chosen someone else to do the voice of Batman, but that's probably the only complaint I have.

Batman is just awesome, doesn't matter how many years he has on his back!\o/ And DKR is probably THE most AWESOME Batman storiy ever. Loved your drawing, especially the lightning striking on the background. For a second I looked at him and thought it was Carl Fredricksen from Pixar's "Up" dressed as Batman. xP Anyway, good job and keep'em coming!^^

very awesome and part two dkr is so badass made my respect for batman increase and i didn't think that was possible considering how much i already respected him

Yeah after reading those, I just had to get other batman books. I'd start to examine everything he did and say things like, "Yeah Batman would totally do that!"
