Woooo!! My first Doctor Who fan art!

There's so many ways to draw Matt Smith because of his unique features from his clothes, facial structure or hair. I wager I'll be drawing him differently each time until I find a happy consistent look.
After I had finished coloring the Doctor and was going to sign it and call it "DONE!", then I thought it would be fun to add Rory and Amy Pond reacting to the fez. I'm constantly getting ideas to add on to the piece at the very last second that pile on much more hours. I lose some sleep, but I go to bed satisfied

I actually just became a fan of this franchise early last year. (Thank you Netflix!) It started out as an interesting series to occupy my free time (and to see what the commotion was all about) and before I even realized it, I was a proud owner of a sonic screwdriver talking about Dalek's in a horrible British accent and avoiding all angel statues. It feels good to obsess over a new interest. It adds an extra dash of exhilaration, motivation and inspiration to your life.
